Patna: Residents of Masaurhi in Patna district damaged a police vehicle at Sevdha mor on Patna-Gaya road following death of a youth who was hit by the escort vehicle of Union minister of state for Rural Development Ramkripal Yadav. The minister was returning from Masaurhi after distributing free LPG cylinders to the BPL families under the PM’s Ujjawala scheme. Stones were thrown after the incident. Police gypsy was turned upside down and damaged by the mob, police said. Police used mild force to disperse the mob in which about a dozen villagers were hurt. Union minister Yadav returned to the state capital safe, police said.
