Youth arrested in Bhojpur for spreading hatred

Ara : Police arrested a youth on June 23, 2018, morning from village Dalippur under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur district for allegedly spreading hatred and sent him to jail.

SDPO, Jagdishpur, Manjeet Siromaan, said that Md Naseem of village Dalippur under Dhangai police station allegedly had links with some anti-social elements and had made viral few objectionable pictures of God and Goddess on the social media. This led to strong protest from another community creating ripples in district administration.

The officials took serious note of the matter and after thorough interrogation arrested Md Naseem. The SDPO said that a police  team has been formed to check recurrence of such incident and a Magistrate has also been deputed to the village. The SDPO said that police are conducting raids at different places to arrest anti-social elements and added that the police administration is alert and no one would be allowed to hurt sentiments of others.
