New Delhi : Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on September 26, 2018, constituted the Society of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune, Maharashtra.
Yesudas, Anup Jalota, Kangana Ranaut, Arvind Swami, Brijendra Pal Singh, Divya Dutta, Satish Kaushik, and Dr Archana Rakesh Singh have been nominated as Members of the FTII Society under he category Persons of Eminence. Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, and Mahesh Aney have been nominated as Members of FTII Society under the category Alumni of FTII.
Dr N Sarvana, Joint Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Ravish Kumar, Joint Secretary (XP), Ministry of External Affairs, and Chaitanya Prasad, ADG, Directorate of Film Festivals, have been nominated as Members of FTII Society under the category of experts representing the activities of the Central Government, according to a PIB release. Noted actor Anupam Kher is President of FTII Society and Chairman of FTII Governing Council.
