Wozniacki wins WTA China Open singlres title

Patna : World No 2 in WTA rankings Caroline Wozniacki, 28, Denmark, won the WTA China Open tennis championship defeating World No 20 Anastasija Sevastova, 28, Latvia, in the final at Beijing on October 7, 2018. Wozniacki won 1,000 points for winning the championship. Wozniacki beat Sevastova 6-3, 6-3 in the final.

Wozniacki won 4 break points in the match to just 1 by Sevastova. She also won 4 games in a row to two by her rival. Wozniacki’s winning percentage on both her first and second serve was also better than that of  Sevastova. Wozniacki had also won the singles title here in 2010.
