Patna : World No 1 male player in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Kento Momota, 24, Japan, crushed World No 6 Kidambi Srikanth, 25, India, in the semi-finals of Denmark Open on October 20, 2018. Momota beat Srikanth 21-16, 21-12 in 42 minutes at Odense to enter the final of the Denmark Open. Momota won 42 rallies to 28 by Srikanth. He also won 5 game points. Momota now leads Srikanth 9-3 head to head.
