Patna : Top Seed & World No 1 Chen Yu Fei, 22, China, and 2nd Seed & World No 2 Tai Tzu Ying, 25, Taiwan, will clash in the women’s singles final of Yonex All England Open, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 1,000 Badminton Tournament, at Birmingham, England, on March 15, 2020.

Tai Tzu Ying, who has won 25 career titles, beat reigning Olympic Champion and three-time former World Champion Carolina Marin, 26, Spain, in three-games in semi-finals at Arena Birmingham, England, on March 14, 2020, late night. Tai Tzu defeated Carolina 19-21, 21-13, 21-11 in 62 minutes rallying back from one game down. Tai Tzu won 61 rallies in the match to 45 by the Spaniard. She won 7 consecutive points to 3 by World No 7 Carolina. Tai Tzu now leads Carolina 9-6 Head to Head.

Defending Champion Chen Yu Fei beat World No 4 & 2017 World Champion Nozomi Okuhara, 25, Japan, 21-14, 23-21 in 43 minutes in semi-finals. Chen now leads Okuhara 5-4 Head to Head.
