Buxar : A woman and her three children including a six month old boy died after she jumped before a running train Dumraon railway station in Buxar District in South Bihar under Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on January 26, 2022. The identity of the woman is yet to be established.
SHO, Government Rail Police, (GRP) Buxar, Ramashish Prasad, said that a woman along with three children was wandering on Dumraon railway station platform and as a train passed through the railway station, the woman along with three children including a six month old child jumped before it and committed suicide. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
The SHO further said that the woman was around 35 year old while her two daughters were 6 and 4 year old and son was six month old boy. Police brought the bodies over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and are also investigating into the incident.
