Ara : Angry over frequent protest, some liquor smugglers stripped a married woman at village Narayanpur under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district on April 12, 2017, evening and also beat up and injured her husband when he opposed them. An FIR has been lodged with Sandesh police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.
Munni Khatoon, wife of Md Naimuddin of Narayanpur village under Sandesh police station, said that she and her husband always protested sale of liquor by some strongmen of the village. On April 12 evening some liquor smugglers entered her house when her husband was away and stripped her. Fortunately, her husband returned home and opposed their act but they also assaulted and injured him. Later, the injured was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital.
