Ara : A case of outraging modesty of an unmarried woman at a Nursing Home at Ara for about a week came to surface on September 27, 2020, after the Women’s Police Station arrested a Compounder and a Nurse of the Nursing Home. Police brought the survivor to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will produce her before an Ara Court on September 28, 2020, to get her statement recorded under Section of 164 of CrPC.
Sources said that a youth decoyed the unmarried woman from a village under Bahoranpur Police Outpost and confined her to Nursing Home at Ara where he outraged her modesty for last one week. As the woman was missing for the last one week from her house, her family members had lodged an FIR with Bahoranpur Police Outpost alleging she had been kidnapped.
Police were conducting raids to recover the woman. Meanwhile, police got information that the woman was at a Nursing Home at Ara. Police conducted raid at the Nursing Home and recovered the woman from there. Police also arrested a Compounder and a Nurse of the Nursing Home for interrogation and handed them over to the Women’s Police Station.
