Ara : A woman, wife of Manoj Yadav of Giddha village under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district, was killed near Sakaddi village on Koelwar-Patna main road under Koelwar police station on January 30 the motorcycle she was travelling by collided head-on with a speeding truck.
The angry locals blocked Ara-Patna main road near Sakaddi village for about three hours with the body of the deceased paralysing the movement of traffic. They were demanding compensation to the deceased family and arrest of the driver of the truck. The blockade was lifted after positive response from police officeials. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
