Ara: A woman was killed just for a gold chain at Bihata village under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district on Thursday evening. A named FIR has been lodged with Imadpur police station against seven persons including her husbandSaroj Ram, father-in-law Laxman Ram, and brothers-in-law Pramod Ram and Santosh Kumar but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.SHO Imadpur police station said that Raj Kumari Devi, daughter of Mokhtar Ram of village Khairamudhar under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district, was married to Saroj Ram of Bihata village in 2015 and since then was being tortured for a gold chain and when their demand was not fulfilled, her in-laws allegedly killed her and also burnt her body in a haste.
