Woman killed at Rohtas village, FIR lodged against three

Sasaram : A named FIR was lodged with Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district on March 9, 2018, against three persons: Pintu Singh, Raju Singh and Bikrama Sah of village Gotapa village under Bikramganj police station, in connection with murder of a young woman on March 8, 2018. The FIR was lodged on the statement of Ajay Baitha, father of the deceased.

SHO, Bikramganj police station, said that the three named accused had decoyed the   daughter of Ajay Baitha of village Gotapa under the police station on March 8, 2018, evening and took her to the border of Bikramganj and Karakat police stations where they strangulated her to death and threw the body near her house. Later, the accused fled away from the village. The SHO said that the police brought the body to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
