Woman killed, 7 injured in accident in E Champaran

Motihari :  A woman  was killed and seven  others  including  a child and two women  sustained serious injuries  when two three wheelers collided head on near Shantinagar locality of Chakiya in East Champaran on Saturday. The police seized the three wheelers and   sent the injured persons to local hospital. The condition of one of the injured is  serious, according to attending doctor. L K Gupta,  SI, Chakiya police station, said  the accident took place due to  rash driving. However, the drivers are yet to be arrested.  According to police, the  deceased was identified as Soneha Khatoon, a district native of Meghua village under Kalyanpur police station in the district.
