Muzaffarpur : A 35 year old married woman of village Kafen under Hathouri police station in Muzaffarpur district was gangraped and brutally killed by some persons on December 2, 2016, evening. The woman had gone to Kafen Haat to purchase vegetables on December 2 when some people caught and gangraped her and then killed her, police said.
After killing the woman, the accused threw her body at Narkatia Chaur in a semi-naked condition, police said adding the body was recovered on December 3 evening. Police feel the criminals killed her to avoid their identification. They also damaged her left eye and the body bore several injury marks. An FIR was lodged with the local police in this connection. DSP Mutfiq Ahmad said that police were probing into the incident and the accused would be arrested very soon. The incident has rocked the area.
