Bhabhua : A woman was crushed to death by a speeding truck while her son was seriously injured at Mohania under the same police station in Kaimur district on November 17, 2020, evening.
Police brought the body over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The drive of the truck escaped with the vehicle from the place of occurrence.. The deceased was identified as Urmila Kuer of village Dadava under Mohania police station, an employee at a private finance company, while the injured was identifies as her son Nikhil Kumar.
SHO, Mohania police station, said that Urmila Kuer had come to Mohania along with her son Nikhil. Meanwhile, a speeding truck knocked them down killing Urmila Kuer on the spot and injuring her son Nikhil Kumar.
