Woman dies in accident in Patna

Patna: A middleage woman was killed on the spot when the bike on which she was travelling was dashed by a speeding truck on NH-30 at Ramkrishna Nagar under Bypass police station on January 29. Agitated over the incident, the locals blocked the NH.

On getting information, Ramkrishna Nagar police led by its SHO reached the spot and tried to pacify the locals. The SHO said that the woman was moving on a bike with her relative and she was a resident of Khagaul locality. Police were trying to ascertain the identity of the deceased. The truck driver escaped with the vehicle.
