Woman dies due to burn injury, mother-in-law in police custody

Saharsa : Rinku Devi, 21, who was married to Dilip Mandal in March 2017, died due to burn injuries on July 5, 2017. She sustained burn injuries at her in-laws’s house located at Gandhi Path under Sadar police station, Saharsa, on July 5 itself. Though her in-laws took her to Saharsa sadar hospital but the doctors there declared her brought dead.

Police have taken Rinku’s mother- in-law into custody. Rinku had returned to Saharsa from her parents’s place at Katihar just a month back. Her husband Dilip Mandal works in Chandigarh. The neighbours alleged that her in-laws often quarrelled with her.
