Woman dies due to burn injury at Saharsa

Saharsa : Khusboo Kumar, wife of a Grade 3 employee posted at Bhagalpur SP office Dharmendra Kumar, died on January 31, 2017, after suffering serious burn injuries at her Excise Colony, Saharsa, residence the same night. The incident allegedly followed a family dispute. Dharmendra too suffered serious burn injuries and was admitted to Surya Clinic, Saharsa.

Although Khusboo’s father Shankar Prasad, who reached Saharsa from Katihar after being informed about the incident, quoting the locals told police that his daughter suffered burn injuries while cooking food and son-in-law too sustained burn injury, Sadar police station, Saharsa, has taken the matter seriously and inquiring into it. Dharmendra had reached Saharsa from Bhagalpur to meet his wife and two children aged three-and-a- half-year and two year respectively three days back. Earlier, he was posted at Saharsa and was transferred to Bhagalpur recently.
