Ara : A married woman committed suicide by consuming poison in Bhelai colony under Udwantnagar police station (PS) in Bhojpur District on March 14, 2020. The deceased was identified as Gudia Devi, 26, wife of Rahul Kumar.
Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with Udwantnagar police station in this connection and police are investigating into the matter.
SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that police got information that a married woman had committed suicide by consuming poison in Bhelai Colony under the police station. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body deceased’s room.
Her in-laws said that Gudia Devi had complained about some problem after which they had administered medicine to her in the night on March 13, 2020. On the other hand, her parents alleged that her in-l,aws had administered poison to her. They lodged an FIR with Udwantnagar police station against the in-laws of the deceased.
