Ara : A married woman Poonam Devi allegedly strangulated to death her husband Jitendra Prasad at village Chilhar under Azimabad police station in Bhojpur district on March 3, 2018. A named FIR has been lodged with Azimabad police station against Poonam Devi on the statement of the deceased’s brother Awadhesh Ram but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. The deceased was living at his in-laws’ house for the last 10 years. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
