Buxar : Police arrested Sumitra Devi, wife of Harendra Chaudhary, from Mullah Toli under Buxar Town police station (PS), and seized 125 liquor pouches from her possession. A named FIR was lodged by Buxar Town PS in this connection and she was sent to jail after interrogation.
SHO, Buxar Town PS, Ranjeet Kumar, said that police, on a tip off, conducted raid in Mullah Toli locality under the town police station in the late evening January 12, 2021, evening, and arrested Sumitra Devi and seized 125 liquor pouches from her possession.
The SHO further said that police also arrested a minor boy and seized five bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from his possession from near Veer Kuer Singh Bridge in Buxar district on January 13, 2021. Later, police sent him to Remand Home.
