Ara: A married woman and her minor son died at the Ara Sadar Hospital in Bhojpur district on Monday allegedly for want of proper treatment and medicine. Local residents and family members went on rampage at Ara Sadar Hospital and raised slogans against the hospital administration and doctors. They held the doctors responsible for the death of the woman and her child.
Sugandha Devi, 30, wife of Manoj Yadav of Sahajkali village under Shahpur police station, had come to Ara Sadar Hospital for her and her minor son’s treatment but the doctors did not attend them properly and medicines were also not provided to them. When contacted, Civil Surgeon A K Aman said he was looking into the matter and action would be taken if any one found guilty.
