Ara : A case of kidnapping of a married woman from Nala road area under Town police station, Ara, on Septemer23, 2017, allegedly by some close relatives has come to light. But, she somehow escaped from the clutches of her kidnappers and lodged a named FIR with  Town police station on September 24 against three persons including her sister and brother-in-law (bahanoi) .

SHO, Town police station said, that Akshaywar Singh of Mani Rai ke Tola under Ara Muffassil police station lived at the house of Arvind Singh at Arvind Colony near Nala road under Town police station on rent with his family. On September 23 afternoon, Lilawati Devi, wife of Akshayawar Singh, had gone to the market for medicine but some persons kidnapped her and took her to Danapur in Patna district. On way, they also injected her some intoxicant after which she fell unconscious.

At Danapur, she regained her consciousness and slipped from the clutches of her kidnappers and reached Ara and lodged a named FIR withTown police station on September 24 against her sister Krishnawati Devi, brother-in-law Brij Mohan Yadav, and nephew Bhanu Yadav in this connection. Lilawati said that she had married her daughter Chanda Devi to Raju Yadav of Yadav Chak under Parsa Bazaar police station but her sister Krishnawati Devi allegedly hatched a conspiracy to marry her daughter to her son-in-law (damad) Raju Yadav and got her kidnapped. The SHO said that the named accused will be arrested after thorough investigation.
