Patna: The winter session of both the Houses of Bihar legislature began on November 25. Sittings of both the Houses were adjourned by the presiding officers till Monday after paying tributes to the victims of the Indore-Patna Express train at Kanpur.
Bihar assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Chaudhary informed the House that the Governor has given his assent to seven Bills but the Bill passed by the House on Lokayukta Act amendments have been returned by the Raj Bhawan.
Later,the legislature parties of the JD(U) and RJD met and members discussed the strategy of the grand alliance during the session. The BJP  legislators too held meeting to press the government on different contemporary issues. The session concludes on December 2.
