Patna : West Indies (WI) beat England by 10 wickets in the 2nd test at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua, on the 3rd of the play on February 2, 2019, to seal the 3-match series 2-0. West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach was named Player of the Match for taking 8 wickets (8/82) in the test. West Indies had won the toss but opted to bowl. WI have defeated England in a test series almost after 10 years.

Batting first, England had scored 187 in their first innings with Moeen Ali making 60 and wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow 52. Kemar Roach took 4/30. WI scored 306 in their first innings with Darren Bravo scoring 50 and openers: Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell, scoring 49 and 47 runs respectively. Shai Hope scored 44. Stuart Broad and Moeen Ali took 3 wickets each while Ben Stokes took one wicket. James Anderson took 2/73.

England were all out for just 132 in their second innings with Kemar Roach taking 4/52 in 13 overs and captain Jason Holder 4/43 in 12.1 over. Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph took 2/12 in 7 overs. Chasing a target of 14, WI scored 17/0 in 2.1 over.

Alzarri had lost his mother the same day. Jason Holder described his performance as very special one.
