Patna : West Indies (WI) defeated Sri Lanka (SL) by three wickets in the 3rd T20I at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua, on March 7, 2021, late night, to win the three-match series 2-1. Chasing a target of 132 runs, WI scored 134/7 in 19 overs with all-rounder Fabian Allen, 25, scoring an unbeaten 21 in 6 balls hitting 3 sixes including the winning six and Jason Holder scoring an unbeaten 14 in 23 balls hitting 1 six. Allen was named Player Of The Match. Alen had also taken one wicket.
Fabian Allen hit spinner Akila Dananjaya for three sixes in 19th over. Akila leaked 22 runs in that over to finish with 0/57 in 4 overs.Opener Lendl Simmons scored 26 in 18 balls with 3 fours and 1 six while his opening partner Evin Lewis scored 21 in 18 balls hitting 3 fours and 1 six. Simmons and Lewis added 37 runs for the 1st wicket. Chris Gayle fell to wrist spinner Lakshan Sandakan for 13 in 20 balls with 1 four.
