Patna : West Indies (WI) were all out for 154 in 47.2 overs in their first innings in the 3rd test against England on day 2 on February 10, 2019, at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia, with opener John Campbell scoring 41 with 3 fours and a six and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich scoring 38 with 6 fours. England were 19/0 in 10 overs in their second innings and are leading by 142 runs.

Stand in captain Kraigg Brathwaite fell to spinner Moeen Ali for 12 while Shai Hope fell to fast bowler Mark Andrew Wood, 29, for 1. Darren Bravo also fell to Mark Wood for 6 while Roston Chase fell to Wood for zero. Shimron Hetmyer fell to Wood for 8. Kemar Roach remained unbeaten on 16.

For England, Wood took 5/41 in 8.2 overs, his first fifer in tests,  while spinner Moeen Ali took 4/36 in 15 overs. Stuar Broad took 1/42 in 15 overs.

Earlier on the day, England were all out for 277 in their first innings with Jos Buttler scoring 67 with 9 fours and all-rounder Ben Stokes scoring 79 with 8 fours. Captain Joe Root fell to fast bowler Alzarri Joseph for 15 while opener Rory Burns fell to fast bowler Keemu Paul for 29. Wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow fell to fast bowler Kemar Roach for 2. Moeen Ali fell to Alzarri Joseph for 15.

For West Indies, Kemar Roach took 4/48 in 25.5 overs. Fast bowlers Shannon Gabriel, Alzarri Joseph, and Keemu Paul took 2 wickets each.
