Patna : West Indies (WI) were 272/6 in 111 overs at stumps on day 2 in their first innings in the 2nd test against England at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua, on February 1, 2019, with Darren Bravo unbeaten on 33 and captain Jason Holder batting on 19. WI lead by 85 runs. England were all out for 187 in their first innings.

Openers Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell scored 49 and 47 runs respectively adding 70 runs for the first wicket. Shai Hope made 44 in 66 balls with 5 fours while Roston Chase fell to Stuart Broad for 4. Shimron Hetmyer scored 21 in 35 balls with 2 fours and a six while wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich fell to Stuard Broad for 31 in 67 balls with 5 fours.

For England, fast bowler Stuard Broad took 3/42 in 28 overs while spinner Moeen Ali took 2/54 in 23 overs. All-rounder Ben Stokes took 1/58 in 25 overs. WI leads the 3-match test series 1-0.
