Patna : Trailing by 56 runs on first innings, West Indies were 76/6 in 27 overs in their second innings at tea in the second test against India at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on October 14, 2018, losing all their top batsmen in a sensational collapse.

Sunil Ambris was batting on 20 while captain Jason Holder was batting on 4 at tea. Three West Indies bastmen including the two openers; Kraigg Brathwaite and Kieran Powell, got out for duck. Sai Hope scored 28 while the first innings centurion Roston Chase made 4.

For India, fast bowler Umesh Yadav, who had taken 6/88 in West Indies first innings, has so far taken 3/32 in the second innings. Spinners Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav took one wicket each. Umesh Yadav took the wickets of Kraigg Brathwaite, Roston Chase, and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich.

West Indies were all out for 311 in their first innings while had scored 367 runs in their first innings. West Indies now lead by 20 runs with only 4 wickets in hand.
