Voters’ list being given finishing touch for Bagaha Nagar Parishad polls

Bagaha :The process of preparation of voters’ list for Bagaha Nagar Parishad elections is nearing completion. On the protest of one of the voters of Ward number 30, Ashok Das, voter identification process was begun by Sub- election officer Anil Patel, who found that 217 voters’ name figuring in Ward number 30 should have been listed in the Ward number 31, 34 and 27.

The responsibility of this anomaly in the voters’ list was fixed on a Block level officer (BLO) Mohd Osama and action is being initiated against him. Sub election officer Anil Patel also asked the voters of Bagaha Nagar Parishad that if their names were not found or they detect any anomaly in the voters’ list, it would corrected by February 28, 2017.
