Ara : Vice Chancellor (VC), Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, Sayyad Mohammad Mumtaazuddin, has decided to increase sports activities on the university campus and has initiated several steps in that direction.
The VC said the VKSU is developing itself to the extent that inter-college sports competition are organized here. To achieve this goal, he said, an Indoor stadium on the new campus of the university and a Basketball court on the old campus of the university are being constructed and soon these facilities will be made available to the students.
The VC further said that he was once a Ranji Trophy player and has much interest in sports activities. After assuming the office of the VC, he dealt with the poor standard of education and sports in the university and is committed to uplift their standard in the university. He said that after completion of Basketball court, an all India Basketball competition will be organized in which players from across the country will participate.
