Ara: High speed Wi-Fi internet facilities would soon be available on Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU)  campus  and constituent colleges under the university at Ara. The work in this regard has started. The students of colleges and university will enjoy the internet facility from the next session.

Wires have been laid in the entire campus of local H D Jain College, Ara,  for Wi-Fi facility and machine has been installed and the students of the college would soon get internet facility. Besides, work in this regard has also started at  Maharaja College, Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalay (MMMM), S B College, all at Ara. Even the VKSU administration has prepared a work plan for providing internet facility to the students and is trying to contact the BSNL for the purpose. Once Wi-Fi facility is provided on the campus of the university and colleges, students may get access to the internet from any corner of the campus.

Vice Chancellor, VKSU, Leela Chand Sah said that the VKSU administration is aware of the priority of the government to provide internet facility in college and university campus. He hoped that a team of the BSNL might visit the university and process for installing internet facility on the campus of the university would start. He said that the concept of e-library, smart classes can’t be fulfilled without internet facility. The library of the university would become e-library to enable the students read books and journals through the internet.
