Bokaro (Jharkhand) : Violin maestro Johar Ali and highly acclaimed vocalist Ganesh Prasad Mishra enthralled hundreds of students at a musical workshop organised by DPS Bokaro on April 2, 2019, at Kalidas Kala Bhawan. The programme was organised to educate students in the field of music besides giving them minute details of how violin helps make songs more melodious and audible and how different ragas play important role in the Indian Classical Music.

Ganesh Prasad Mishra sang popular songs and ‘Bandish’ which included ‘Saware Jago Bhaiye Bhor’ and other Ragas whereas violinist maestro enthralled the students by playing the tune of ‘Tere Raske Kamar’, ‘Chaap Tilak’ and other Bollyhood hit numbers. Later, they educated the students as to how music plays an important role in the life of a human being.

DPS Bokaro Principal A S Gangwar felicitated the artists and thanked them for giving their valuable time rendering popular songs and Ragas besides creating awareness about Indian Classical Music. He also assured to organise such programmes in the future.
