Patna : World No 47 Albert Ramos-Vinolas, 33 Spain, upset World No 9 Diego Schwartzman, 28, Argentina, in quarter-finals to reach the semi-finals of ATP Cordoba Open, a clay courts tournament, at Cordoba, Argentina, on February 27, 2021. Fifth seed Vinolas stunned top seed Schwartzman in a tough contest 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 in 2hrs 30 minutes in QFs.

Vinolas won 5 break points in the match to 2 by Schwartzman. The Argentine though fired 6 Aces in the match to 1 by the Spainiard. Vinos won 4 games in a row in the match to 3 by Schwartzman.
