Patna :  World No 85 Albert Ramos-Vinolas, 31, Spain, brushed aside World No 455 Cedric Marcel Stebe, 28, Germany, in final on July 28, 2019, to lift the singles title at Swiss Open, an ATP 250 point tournament, at Gstaad, Switzerland.  Vinolas beat Stebe in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 in 1hr 21 minutes in the final to win the singles title stopping the giant killing run of the German.

The Spaniard won 4 break points to just 1 by Stebe. None of the two players could serve any Ace in the match. Vinolas won 5 games in a row in the match. The Spaniard won 38 service points to 30 by the German. Vinolas’ winning percentage on both his first and second serve ( 69% & 62%) was much better than that of Stebe ( 51 % & 55%).

Vinolas bagged 250 ATP ranking points for winning the title while Stebe, who was playing his ATP Tour final, got 150 points.
