Patna: Residents of village Nadaul under Masaurhi police station in Patna district on Monday pelted police personnel with stones when they reached the village to conduct raids to seize liquor. The cops had to make a hasty retreat. Sources said some policemen were injured in stone pelting and brickbatting. But, a Kotwali police station team  succeeded in seizing 18 bottles of  IMFL and 90 pouches of countrymade liquor from Patna Junction roundabout on Monday. Police also arrested a man in this connection. He had brought the liquor from Madhupur in Jharkhand by train.
