Sitamarhi : The residents of village Muhammedpur in Sitamarhi district chased and caught three bike borne armed criminals when they were escaping after looting Rs 81,000 from a Customer Service Point (CSP) Operator of SBI Mohd. Muzibur Rehman on May 14, 2018.
The Nayatola village CSP Operator Mohd. Muzibur Rehman was returning from Pupri Sub-Dvisional town after drawing Rs 81000 from bank on bike along with a pillion rider. But, three bike borne criminals waylaid them and snatched cash at gunpoint and escaped.
The CSP operator informed some villagers on phone about the incident. As a Mahaviri Jhanda procession was in progress at the nearby village Muhammedpur, the villagers caught the criminals and after thrashing them handed them over to Nanpur police station team. Police are searching for the firearms of the criminals. The arrested criminals were identified as Mod. Sibutullah, Ladoo Kumar, and Satyam Kumar, all residents of Sitamarhi district.
