Villagers block Malisonebersa – Baidyanathpur NH 107 in Saharsa

Saharsa : Villagers blocked Malisonebersa  – Baidyanathpur NH 107 near village Maina in Saharsa district for several hours after a snapped high tension electric wire killed a cow outside the door of its owner  Shyam Yadav on February  19, 2017, morning.

The snapped high tension wire fell on the cow killing it on the spot. The villagers were demanding adequate compensation to cattle owner Shyam Yadav. They complained that power was being supplied to the area through worn out wires often resulting in such incidents. SI, Sonebersa police station, Vinod Chaudhary, District Board Member Amrendra Bhaskar, and student leader Azad Kumar Yadav reached Maina and persuaded the villagers to lift the blockade.
