Villagers block Ara- Sasaram road after death of man in accident

Ara : Hundreds of villagers blocked Ara-Sasaram main road near Semraon Bazaar under Garhani police station in Bhojpur district on February 13 and paralysed movement of vehicles after a speeding vehicle crushed to death an elderly person on February 12 late evening. They were demanding arrest of the driver of the vehicle, compensation to the next kin of the deceased. The blockade was lifted after positive response from police officials. A speeding Bolero crushed to death a salt seller Mahendra Kesari near Semrao Bazaar under Garhani police station when he was returning home after selling salt. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on February 13.
