Ara : Irate villagers blocked Ara-Barhara main road near village Daulatpur under Ara Muffassil police station for about four hours and raised slogans against Bhojpur district administration on April 2, 2017, with the body of one Rajendra Yadav murdered by some criminals on April 1 midnight.
The villagers were demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the killing of Rajendra, Rs 10 lakh compensation to his family and a government job to one of his dependents. The blockade was lifted after positive assurance from the officials. Some unidentified armed criminals entered Rajendra’s house at Daulatpur under Ara Muffassil police station around April 1 midnight and slit his throat when he was sleeping and escaped.
