Nawada; The state vigilance investigation bureau sleuths conducted raid at the office and official residence of Nawada district co-operatative officer (DCO), Vikram Kumar Jha, on Wednesday afternoon and detected undisclosed assets valued over Rs one crore, very disproportionate to his known source of income. The DCO was pulled out from an ongoing official meeting at the Nawada DM’s chamber and taken to his residence. The DCO has been in the eye of the storm for allegedly charging 10 % commission from Primiary agriculture credit society (PACS) presidents in the disbursement of paddy remuneration to the been farmers. The DCO has, however, not been formally arrested but detained for questioning.
