Vigilance team arrests executive engineer accepting bribe in Nalanda

Patna : A state vigilance investigation bureau team led by DSP Maharaja Kanishka Kumar on December 26 arrested an Executive Engineer of Bihar aPolice Building Construction Corporation Awadhesh Kumar Rastogi a bribe accepting a bribe 0f Rs 30,000 from a contractor Sunil Kumar to clear his bill related to extension of a 11,000 KV line from Nalanda Police Academy premises to Rajgir. Rastogi was arrested from his office at Rajgir in Nalanda district. The vigilance team also seized 1.02 lakh from the possession of Rastogi. Sunil had lodged complaint with vigilance bureau alleging Rastogi had demanded bribe from him to clear his bill.
