Patna : A state vigilance investigation bureau team led by DSP P N Singh on December 26 arrested Block Education Officer (BEO), Bind, in Nalanda district, Mankeshwar Sharma, from his office accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from one Vishwadipak Kumar to allow him to open an account in bank in connection with Mid-day meal scheme. Kumar had lodged complaint with vigilance bureau that BEO Sharma had demanded Rs 10,000 from him for the purpose.
