VC, VKSU, angry over leakage of confidential information, warns officials of action

Ara : Vice-Chancellor (VC), Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, Nand Kishor Sah, has expressed his serious concern over leakage of some confidential information a few days back and warned the officials of stern action if such incident re-occurred.

Information relating to evaluation of answer-sheets of BA/B.Sc/B.Com part III through Nodal Centre in the VKSU and expenditure incurred on it was leaked a few days ago that dogged the VKSU administration. Taking it seriously, the VC sought explanations from all the officials concerned of the VKSU including the Examination Controller, Professor Siddheshwar Narayan Singh, holding him responsible  for it. The Examination Controller has, however, strongly denied his involvement in the leakage of confidential information.

Registrar, VKSU, Col Shyamanand Jha, said that the VKSU administration would issue notice asking all the officials to submit affidavits assuring that no information would be leaked in future.

Students’ Union president, VKSU, Amit Kumar Singh, met the VC and asked about alleged embezzlement of lakhs of rupees in the name of Nodal Centre and wondered why the results of graduation part III had not yet been published.

VC, VKSU, Nand Kishor Sah, said that money is not important for him. The most important are exam results and the future of students. He said that Nodal Centre was made for the first time for transparency and evaluation was done after coding. He said that the publication of result was delayed as it was a new system and assured that the results would be published on time in future.

The VC said that Jagjiwan College, Ara,  has been made Nodal Centre for the for the evaluation of BA/B.Sc/B.Com part II answer- sheets and asked the Nodal officers and other professors to start the work at the earliest so that results are declared on time.
