Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of State Universities Fagu Chahan on January 24 directed VC, MU, Prof Rajendra Prasad to function as VC, JPU, with immediate effect in addition to his present responsibility. The Raj Bhavan Secretariat issued a notification to this effect on January 24. VC, JPU, Prof Harikesh Singh, completed his tenure on January 24 itself.
