Varsities asked to submit their budgets at the earliest

Patna : A meeting of Registrars and Financial Advisors of all the traditional universities was held at Raj Bhavan on December 6, 2017, on the directive of Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of State Universities Satya Pal Malik. Principal Secretary to Governor Brajesh Mehrotra presided over the meeting.

The universities that had failed to submit their respective budgets by November 30, 2017, to the state education department were directed at the meeting to submit the same at the earliest. The universities were also asked to dispose off the pending issues soon. They were  asked to expedite the implementation of decisions taken at the last meeting of the Vice-Chancellors (VCs) held on November 25, 2017. The meeting also discussed change in old syllabus of different subjects.
