US made pistol, 50 live rounds seized in Bhojpur, 3 held

Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, seized one 9mm made in USA pistol and 50 live cartridges from a field at village Narayanpur on February 24, 2018, and also arrested three persons in this connection. The arrested persons were identified as Rohit Kumar, and Lallu alias Rohit Kumar, of Narayanpur village under Narayanpur police station, and Amit Kumar of village Bagwa under Garhani police station.

SHO, Narayanpur police station, said that on the direction of Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar, a police team conducted raids at different places and arrested three miscreants. On their revelation, police seized the arms and ammunition from a field at Narayanpur village. Police said that the arrested persons have criminal background and were in jail in connection with a vehicle theft case and were on bail. They are also involved in liquor business, police said.
