Ara : Upset over death by suicide of Bollywood Star Sushant Singh Rajpoot recently, a college girl committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of a room at her house at village Ghaghar under Krishangarh police station in Bhojpur District on June 27,2020.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Julie Kumari, 20, daughter of a retired armyman Mithilesh Singh of village Ghaghar village. Family members said that Julie Kumari cleaned the house and served tea to family members on June 27 morning. After taking tea, all the family members engaged themselves in their day to day work. Meanwhile, Julie Kumari locked herself inside the prayer room of her house and hanged herself to the ceiling of the room with the help of her wrapper.
When she was not seen some time, her family members searched for her and found that she was hanging to the ceiling inside the prayer room. They raised an alarm. Hearing their cry, villagers rushed to the spot and brought the body down and informed police. Her father works in a private company in awhile her brother Prakash Singh lived at the village and her elder sister Jyoti Kumar is married.
Grandfather Shaym Sundar Singh said that Julie Kumari was very upset after suicide by film actor Sushant Singh Rajpoot and always talked about him but they did not realise that she would take the extreme step.
