Buxar : A young man tied knot with his beloved but after sometime deserted her at Buxar railway station instead of taking her to his home. When the Buxar GRP and RPF came to  about it, they searched for the boy but in vain.

Vivek Verma of Mirzapur village under Bairiya police station in Balia district, Uttar Pradesh, came in contact with a girl Pragati Singh of Ahirauli under Kushinagar police station on facebook and both fell in love and tied knot. After marriage, Vivek Verma took Pragati Singh, his wife, to Pune in Maharashtra where he worked and earned a handsome salary and lived there for some time. But he lost his job recently and so decided to return home along with his wife.

Vivek Verma along with his wife Pragati Singh came to Buxar from Pune-Patna Express from where and they were to go to Balia. But, Vivek Verma left his wife on Buxar railway station saying he was going to hire vehicle for Balia but he did not return. Pragati Singh waited for him for several hours. The GRP and RPF personnel noticed that the girl was all alone at the platform and so they queried. She narrated the story. Hearing her story, police swung into action and searched for the boy but in vain.

Pragati Singh told police personnel that she talked to Vivek Verma on mobile but he refused to take her to Balia.  She also said that Vivek thrashed her at Pune frequently. She wished to go to her in-laws’ place in Balia and so Buxar police later sent her to Balia.
