Union Ministers Goyal, R K Singh flag stoppage of Shramjeevi Exp. at Bihia Rly Station

Ara : Railways Minister Piyush Goyal ( through video conferencing) and BJP from Ara and Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for  Power R K Singh flagged the stoppage of 12391 Shramjeevi Superfast Express at Bihia railway station in Bhojpur district under Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on December 8, 2018. R K Singh also laid foundation of  a Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Bihia railway station.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister R K Singh said that the residents of Bihia were demanding stoppage of Shramjeevi Express for the last one decade and on December 8 Railways Minister, Piyush Goel conceded their demands. Singh said that he worked for welfare of people even when he was in the government job and now he has dedicated his life to the nation adding that after joining politics he continues to serve the people selflessly. Singh said that he would go to any extent for the welfare of the people.

The Union Power Minister said that the FOB would be completed within timeframe and the people will now cross railway track without risking their lives. Singh patted his back saying what he had done in five years others failed to do in the last 70 years. Singh said he never patronised a middleman and added he got schemes selected for 500 villages with the help of people. He thanked Railways Minister Piyush Goel for conceding long cherished demand of the people of Bihia.
